3. UV Coating Process

UV coating technique is very simple, painters encounter far fewer painting errors when painting compared to PU and enamel paint. You just need to tell them to buy a UV wood coating system and they will automatically provide it to you. After you have the paint, follow these steps:

• Step 1: This is the step of treating the wood surface, you use sandpaper to sand the wood surface very smooth. Increase the sandpaper to around 380 grit.

• Step 2: Treat wood defects, often found in natural wood, you can use wood filler solution (available at paint stores) to cover these defects.

• Step 3: Prime the surface, this is the first coat to create a smooth surface and increase the adhesion of the UV coating on the wood surface.

• Step 4: Apply UV paint to the wood surface. Depending on the type of wood, we apply 1 or more times, if applying multiple times, we need to sand the previous time with 240 grit sandpaper.

• Step 5: Dry the paint with a UV dryer above. Note that you should clean the drying equipment before drying to avoid the situation where the old paint layer sticks in the machine for a long time and dissolves into the new paint layer, damaging the entire painting process.
